After playing for several bands in years past, I gradually became burned out and tired of it all. Years passed before God prepared me for another go.

This time there was a calling with direction and purpose that had been missing before. The development of this group was not an act of ambitious desire for fame or fortune, but the perfect timing of a sovereign God. I think all involved, including myself, have known it from the start.

Each step has been exciting to watch. The name, “The Vanishing” means “He must increase, but I must decrease”. After all, it is better to obey than to sacrifice.
